Mud Matters investigates the materials and waste from ceramic production, their reuse and transformation into the materialisation of recycled ceramic pastes. Various recipes are presented, using as raw material wastewater treatment plant sludge from the water cleaning processes in ceramic production, both from industry and workshops, thus demonstrating the possibility of working with waste and creating new ways of utilising water.
